A non-invasive use of low levels of red light therapy to stimulate the cells and tissues of the body to break down fatty tissue.

How it works
The wavelengths of laser light absorbs in the adipocytes, which leads to increased cyclic adenosine monophosphate production, a type of cell signal or messenger. This then stimulates an enzyme called cytoplasmic lipase, which converts triglycerides to fatty acids and glycerol. The substances can pass through pores, causing the adipocytes to shrink.
